Ms. Devine was born in Nuilly France and immigrated to the United State when she was two. She lived in Louisiana, Texas and California before her family settled in Hawaii. She completed her B. A. at the University of Hawaii in Drama with an emphasis in Dance before forming Brand X Theater of San Francisco, a dance and performance art venue.

She moved to New York working for Franklin Furnace Archive, Inc then back to San Francisco to work as Development Director at Art Regrup. Other involvements have included co production of Crossroads, a roving visual and spoken word  venue and membership in Ledge, Bay Park Press and the Los Angeles Printmaking Society.

Her work has been included in shows juried by Hugh Davies, Director, Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, Don Baciagalupi, former Director of the San Diego Museum of Art, Liz Armstrong, Chief Curator, Orange County Museum of Art, Laurence Palmer, Curator, Museum of Art, Ft. Lauderdale and Arthur Ollman, former Director Museum of Photographic Arts, San Diego.

She has completed art residencies at the San Diego Museum of Art and the Atlantic Center for the Arts and is slated to attend the Vermont Studio Center.
